The Cape Independence Advocacy Group (CIAG) commissioned Victory Research (VR) to conduct another poll on Cape Independence. It was a telephone survey, the sample was fully representative of the Western Cape adult population, and the margin for error was 3.5%. Polling took place between the 12th and 18th of March, before the current challenges within the GNU. The sample size was 820 which is statistically significant and in line with accepted international norms.

The CIAG also held an online press conference on Thursday, the 10th of April with spokeswoman Dr. Joan Swart and co-founder Phil Craig announcing the results.
This is the fourth poll which the CIAG has commissioned on Cape Independence and some significant patterns are emerging.
